Ahhh... American Bra again! 😂 I don't watch fashion or style videos often but I do love yours. You are so down to earth, refreshing and fun. And you outfits are totally wearable for European women, too (even if the are not French Girl). Thanks!
I absolutely love the pairings of opposites the turtlenecks with flowey skirts- pulled together effortlessly with a scarf and a topper coat. I get your Americanized Frenchgirl style.
I so look forward to your videos! I’ve worked in construction basically my entire adult life, I’m 35, and it’s so hard to put femininity first. I don’t get to explore it with the clothes I have to wear on the job so I feel stagnant in my womanly growth. I’ve never been into trends and I don’t care for graphics or logos. You always look classy/elegant/beautiful/comfortable in your outfits. It’s so nice getting your advice, it’s like getting advice from a big sister. You make it so simple and fun, thank you for sharing, Diana❤
I will tell you a secret! I am 73 and I feel sexy. Not Kardashian sexy, but Queen Baddie sexy. I have long curly hair. Long thin legs and hips. Jeans, boots, a shorter sweater and my curly hair and I feel great!
Great outfits. I think that camel coat is gorgeous as is and if you wanted to get it tailored, it would also be. I liked the baggy outfit. I think it helps a lot to be gorgeous like you.
I would buy that green jacket in a minute! love your videos, your quirky sense of humour, your creativity. I am culturally French and i think you truly understand the essence of French women’s fashion sense.
I have to tell you that I'm really enjoying your videos. My style - french girl not so much. I'm your basic eldergoth. I went to a show the other night wearing ruffled bloomers, fancy fishnets and 20 hole docs. I was flouncing around the other day in an outfit that Lydia Deetz would have killed for. I'm 64. This stops me from nothing. I've learned a lot from you about layering and pattern mixing that I wouldn't have thought of on my own. Never too late to learn new things 😀. I even bought a silk scarf (gasp) and might even get a couple more.
Love the blue and brown together in an outfit. I need to go shopping now because I dont any clothing in those colors. Fun video as always, and the kittens are just everything. ❤😊
i really like to much what you said :" When your clothes are of high quality it shows that you really do care abouut yourself your presentation and honoring that"
I watch all your videos but I don't think I've ever left a comment. I love your sense of style and playfulness. The kittens are a bonus; never apologize for kittens. I did my own gray hair journey a few years ago and I'm enjoying seeing yours. And I've just started using black castor oil on my (barely-there) eyebrows, we'll see how it goes!
I am formerly preppy, definitely traditional, not necessarily Fresh style but more English country attire. I applaud your use of color, and particularly scarves, which are one of my go to additions. Belts, handbags, satchels and loafers are another. Currently living in Florida, swap those out for woven beach bags, sun hats, and sandals.
Thanks for another great video! Kittens, rich aunt, brooch idea, and getting 2 winner outfits out of the plaid jacket, fantastic. Not sure if you’ve covered this yet-how to remedy static in silk blouses? Winter coats with polyester linings in mid winter reveal a silk blouse that just clings. Thanks Diana!
@@leighagrant7861, the anti-static spray is every well-dressed woman’s saviour, isn’t it! I have a bottle at home and a second in my desk at work. I often get blank looks or directed to antiseptic spray when I ask for it at the pharmacy, but I find it eventually!
Thank you for posting this lovely video acclimatizing this classic style for us middle aged American women. Your presentation style is so intelligent, wry and practical. Love to see this kind of content on youtube (and my cats enjoyed it too).
Great video! I love the all blue outfit, thank you for the inspiration!... and the just putting on the scarf is appreciated! No 15 minute fancy knots I can't follow. I live in Ontario near Montreal. I regularly meet with French women and men through my work. I love their style, and all your tips, it's my kind of dressing. I will say though, that they are so much more, making emulating difficult. Their joie de vie really shows, and mannerisms, gestures, and above all language. Beautiful. Thank you Diana!
I love the corduroy jumper and the jacket. It's so cute. I would wear tights with it. Of course, I'm 60 yoa and probably don't need to wear it but I could pull it off with some tights. 😉
I’m actually watching this in Paris right now. And you absolutely nailed the (imo) number one French girl style tip… undone hair!!! All the other channels that give French girl styling tips are so far off the mark. And now Americans look more obvious than ever. They look like AI generated versions of French girls. 😬
Lololol you are so right about the American AI "French girl"! Americans always do too much! Thanks for the feedback! I love hearing from real Parisians. 😘
@@unblahyourself oh I should clarify, I’m not French (well 2 generations back lol) I’m just making my twice yearly visit. Love your channel and refreshing point of view. And the kittens. ALL OF THE KITTENS! 🥂

Love your videos ❤ I wear everything I want to at 56 from studded boots to large rimmed hats…but you are showing me how to better put “the look” together effortlessly. I’m not a French girl style but your Je ne sais quoi attitude is rubbing off on me! Love it 🎉
Thank you for making this video Diana! I was going to request a winter styling video. I live in Milwaukee. We need to pull out a whole new wardrobe for winter. 10/10 again ❤
In Paris, London and NY, usually the women wear sneakers to walk around comfortably, but carry nice shoes to change into right before they reach their destination.
Ahhh a perfect way to start my Sunday morning… Diana, kittens, inspiring Queen Baddie attitude, yay!! I love that coral coloured cashmere turtle neck! Im going to get ALL my scarves out lol
Love all of these Diana! I just knew your "not going to do it" would be a crisp, plain white button down! I also contemplated the marinière but the button down with the man collar won in the end 😂 Button downs are a cherished staple for me but you know, vive la différence!!! 😉
Love your videos, style, and spunk. For me and my 5’ frame, bulky just doesn’t work, except maybe a bulky sweater with slim or straight leg pants. Love the broaches on the sweater sleeve, I’ll be thrifting for some soon.
Kitty says Mules? No kitten heels 😂luv this look and I just turned 65 this September and there’s very little in my wardrobe that I feel like I can’t still wear! Thank you for this video.
I'm learning so much from your videos and love your presentation style with the quiet humor! The kitties are adorable too! Are you a dancer by chance? Thanks for all the tips.
Paris being cold and wet… I was in Paris one April, and I fell asleep in the Jardin des Tuileries. The sun came out while I was asleep and I’d burned bright red… not the way to get a pop of colour! I love the blue monochrome outfit and the cord pinafore.
I am shocked more people aren’t raving about the cream sweater, rust skirt, camel coat and boots look. Absolute perfection and so on trend (without looking trendy) *chefs kiss*
Love your videos. Living in uk I've been to Paris a few times. When I first visited the city I was looking for fashion inspiration but sadly disappointed. Nobody stood out in anyway. I could see that the women were pretty slim but unfortunately a large number of them were also smoking. Beautiful city tho ❤
That was great fun and really inspiring- thank you! Turns out I’m a lot more French girl style than I knew and even just bought a camel hair coat last winter. Love every outfit you shared and you pull it all off with verve and panache. Fabulous!
If you do some sewing, you can cut open the shoulders of this 100% camel coat and adjust them to your size and then even sew them up by hand. I did this with a few vintage coats. Made them fit. Or you leave the shoulders and add a plead on each side over the shoulder to bring them in :) ~~ And, love the blue coat! Please, send it over lol
Honestly, that's a terrible idea. Shoulder alterations are uber expensive for a reason. A tacky homemade tailoring job would ruin that coat. Because it's real camel hair, the inner construction is probably top notch; a diy shoulder alteration would be sacrilege.
I’ve done shoulder cap alterations. Remove some of the lining stitching to see how the shoulder is constructed. Then decide if it is something you want to tackle. I didn’t find it difficult but I’ve sewn a lot.
Yes American bras are definitely not the greatest, I am European and used to better fitting and more stylish bras. Like the camel coat, always a great staple , but not so much in Southern California where I live, I used to have a camel coat. Thanks Diana for all your efforts, love it all😍
Love the maroon skirt. For my eye - jacket open, no scart, pop collar, sunglasses, black ballet flats OR even loafers of quality. Simpler than the scarf & snapped up jacket (which makes it read "blouse" rather than jacket).

I really hate white button-down shirts. I feel like I'm in a straight jacket. I did notice that the Japanese women I saw on vacation choose softer ivory tops in softer fabrics or with gathered or pleated details. So refreshing and wearable!
Your styling and thrift videos are the best. They don’t hand feed you a trending style to replicate but show you HOW you can think about putting together an outfit that suits your own personal taste. (But I do love that blue jacket!)
